Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko is she is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as an artist in mixed martial arts that is competing with in the UFC in the Flyweight Division. She is now in the Flyweight Division. Shevchenko is the elder sister of her former UFC Flyweight champion and the fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started out with her debut as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller on a unanimous vote. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 and a medal of bronze in 2008, and a medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA Amateur Muaythai World Champions in the year 2016. Antonia's professional debut was in 2003. In 2012, she took home in the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship as well as in the year 2016 she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was a part of Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas' fight in her final fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She took victory by the unanimous verdict. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut took place in 2002 in the KFK Cup event of Kyrgystan in which she fought Anara Bayanova. She was victorious with a TKO in the second and went on to win two more fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships, 2003. It gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko put on a pause from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she was able to make her return to fight Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa by a unanimous vote and the next day, she defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her impressive strike power through a clinch using striking her with her knees. After this win, Antonina was able to sign the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters' Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision, after winning her debut fight. Antonina was able to bounce back from her defeat and defeated Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night in this match. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, and lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was lastly defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
